Terms of Service

By creating an account or using InsightTrader ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you may not access or use the Service.

These Terms apply to all users including visitors, free-tier users, and paid subscribers.

InsightTrader is a trading analytics platform that allows users to import broker account statements, reconstruct trade histories, and analyse trading performance and behaviour.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice where practicable.

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

One person may not maintain more than one free account. Duplicate accounts may be removed without notice.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

InsightTrader offers free and paid subscription tiers (Pro, Elite, TradeBot). Paid plans are billed monthly or annually via Stripe.

All prices are in USD. Taxes may apply depending on your jurisdiction.

By subscribing to a paid plan you authorise InsightTrader to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Access continues until that date.

Annual plans are non-refundable once payment is processed. Please review our Refund Policy before purchasing an annual plan.

We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

You agree not to use the Service to: (a) violate any applicable law; (b) transmit malicious code or interfere with the Service; (c) attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure; (d) scrape, reverse-engineer, or resell the Service without express written permission; (e) upload data that does not belong to you.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

You retain ownership of the trading data you upload. By uploading data you grant InsightTrader a limited licence to store and process that data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

You represent that you have the right to upload and use the data you provide.

We do not sell your trading data to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for details.

The Service, including its software, algorithms, UI design, and content, is owned by InsightTrader and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you beyond the limited right to use the Service as described herein.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

InsightTrader does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that defects will be corrected.

InsightTrader is an analytics and journalling tool. Nothing in the Service constitutes financial, investment, or trading advice. You are solely responsible for your own trading decisions.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INSIGHTTRADER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless InsightTrader, its officers, employees, and agents from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party right.

You may close your account at any time by contacting help@insighttrader.io or through your account settings.

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately for material breach of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or non-payment.

Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases. We may retain your data as required by law or legitimate business need; see our Privacy Policy for retention details.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised date.

For material changes we will provide at least 14 days' notice via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in a court of competent jurisdiction.
